The initial appointment takes up to 1 hour. You can expect a full assessment and ultrasound scan (POCUS). We will decide together a treatment plan and if an ultrasound guided injection is the right treatment for you. Please see our price list.
A doctor’s referral is not needed for you to have a steroid injection. We will be in direct contact with your GP and we will ask you if you would like us to send a letter to your Doctor explaining our diagnosis and treatment plan, so it can be added in your records.
Our clinicians have extensive knowledge in ordering further investigations if needed. With plenty of experience in working in NHS CATS (Clinical Assessment and Treatment Services), we will be able to advise you on any possible investigation you might need.
We will require access to any relevant information and medical notes you might have, if you are happy for that. This will enable us to understand your medical history and make sure we give you the most adequately fitting treatment.
